For my 'Logo for €5' commission (find out more here: [link]) I received the request to design a logo for Bellikinis: A brand that focuses on swimwear and bikinis for women with bigger sizes.
After a few tests, this is what came out. I just dressed up the, bit chubby, letter B with a bikini and voila.
For something so original, you sure know how to fit the bill! It's a great logo mixed with a great concept, but if there's one problem I have, it's this- The fact that the lower part of the 'B' itself is larger than the upper half of the logo. Was this intentional, by any means?
My point is that you have to look at this from the perspective of the buyer- Yes, these women want to find a place that can fit their swimsuit sizes, but they don't want to go to someplace that stereotypes the way "bigger" women look.
If you'd like to take my opinion, I'd say this- I'd make the upper half of the 'B' as big as the lower half. Other than that, however, it's a great concept, and I'm glad you decided to make it for somebody. c:
