The End Eloise walked up the sloping hill and sat down at its top, breathing heavily as she looked down at the bandage covering her arm. It still stung where the alien's barbed tail had struck her. The docs said she'd be fine though so there was nothing she could do about it but hope they were right.
Her gaze turned to the skies as a warm breeze blew the grasses around her in a rippling wave. Overhead, the hive shipor what was left of itwas beginning to enter the atmosphere.
The rock-like ship began to glow as it touched the atmosphere and then its already compromised shape began to crumble and collapse in on itself. Pieces began fly
Falling In My muscles were on fire and my breathing was ragged. Fuck me I hate running. It sucks.
But I have to do it, part of the regimen and all that no matter how miserable I am doing it. My biggest problem isn't endurance though. It's speed.
I'm built big, and I've never been light. Running fast is a bitch for me and takes a lot out of me. I'm not proud of it, but that's how it is.
Doesn't help that military food isn't exactly the healthiest thing in the world. Even the salads will give you the runs.
I heard them before I saw them. The familiar cadence call:
"When my Grandma was ninety-one!"
And the company reply of:

Awakening Cody looked around him. His body was still trembling. He wasn't even sure what he'd just done. He'd just, screamed and then...everything had been crushed. The hallway looked as if a wrecking ball had torn through it. He reached down and picked up his cap, putting it on his head as he began walking down the hallway over the broken forms and bodies of his schoolmates.
"Yes? Sheriff? Get to the school house ri" Miss Levenworth froze as Cody turned to look at her. Her eyes bulged in her head and she slammed her class door. "Oh god, he just looked at me. Please, hurry before he kills me. Please."
Cody swallowed and began running. He had
The ChildThe shadow hung around her like a thick mist, trying to smother her in its embrace; she resisted its call, and stared at the ember red orb floating in front of her. An icy laugh drifted through the shadow around her, and then an even colder voice echoed in the darkness; standing her hair on end.
"Do you accept my challenge little girl?"
She steeled her heart, "yes, I'll take your challenge. For them, I'll do anything."
The laughter filled the shadows and the orb split and charged her burning into each of her hands, she screamed as the searing heat burned her flesh; she stared at the back of her hands, and then turned them over. On the b
Desert SeekerThe sun beat down on Rose's back as she ran towards the distant temple. It stood carved into the sandstone cliff face, it's massive stone guardians standing an ominous watch over the stretches of the desert. The beauty of the temple, no matter how stunning, was lost on Rose at the moment. She had more pressing concerns. Like the land shark pursuing her. The beast erupted from the dune directly behind her, showering her with sand. Renewed panic took a grip on Rose's heart as she scrambled up and over the next dune as the land shark's massive armored head bit at her with concussive snaps that sent her staggering. She tumbled over the top of theMade by
Her and Herself...ExpressionsThe faintest exhale of iced wind, was enough to penetrate and awaken herself. She was herself and her, both one and the same, but both radically different. Two different beings as one. One knew of herself, and she knew of himself. Both knew of each other’s selfs, but she was unable to control herself no longer there was no control, but not uncontrol either. . Whenever herself was exhausted, her was able to stay together and manage to keep on going. Whenever her was exhausted, herself was the willpower to keep on going. But when both were exhausted by each other, then she became exhausted. Her was able to tire herself, but not totally exhaust, and vice-versa. Made by
But he perhaps knew. He knew much more than most, but still not enough to know. Unworthiness, it ‘twas more than plenty to allow herself to turn against her, for herself to become the force and controlling power of she. For herself and her were simply, self and her. Her was the body, and self was the mind. Fo
